Compose a summary and critique (600-900 words long) of the article by B. N. Mijts and B. K. C. Patel, available online through SOCS. Once in SOCS, click the "resources" tab and then the appropriate link to download the article.
For this paper, you are not required to do additional research, but you are required to provide evidence for every assertion that you make. Use what you have learned in your Biology class to assess the work presented in the article. If you decide that you need to do research in order to gather evidence and strengthen your argument, you must document your sources appropriately (i.e., consult A Short Guide to Writing about Biology, pp. 70-79, and follow the documentation format outlined there).
Keep in mind that your paper will be graded based on my usual grading criteria for papers.
