What does Bloom mean by such terms as "literary influence," "strong poet," "revisionary ratio," "misprision," "priority," "the family romance"?
Bloom believes that strong poetry is created by a very particular process. Like most Freudians, Bloom is easily parodied, but what does Bloom discover and teach us about the creative process? What is missing from Bloom's theories of strong poetry? Who is left out?
