Heinrich XLV, Hereditary Prince Reuss zu Schleiz (1895-1945).  Succeeded as head of the Princely House of Reuss in 1928 upon the death of his father, Prince Heinrich XXVII.  Disappeared in autumn 1945.

  1. Heinrich I, Prince Reuss zu Köstritz (1910-     ).  Adopted by Prince Heinrich XLV in 1935.  Married on September 15, 1939, at Bad Doberan.

Heinrich XXIV, The Prince Reuss zu Greiz (1878-1927).  Succeeded as The Prince and as head of the Princely House of Reuss in 1902 upon the death of his father, Prince Heinrich XXII, and renounced his rights as The Prince in 1918.  He was succeeded as head of the Princely House upon his death in 1927 by Prince Heinrich XXVII Reuss zu Schleiz, father of Hereditary Prince Heinrich XLV Reuss zu Schleiz (above).
