Head of House

Boris III, Tsar of Bulgaria (1894-1943).  Succeeded as Tsar in 1918 on the abdication of his father, Tsar Ferdinand I (see below).  Died in Sofia on August 28, 1943, under mysterious circumstances.
Wife:  Giovanna, née Princess of Savoy (1907-     )
Issue:
  1. Marie Louise, Princess of Bulgaria (1933-     )
  2. Simeon II, Tsar of Bulgaria (1937-     ).  Succeeded as Tsar on the death of his father in 1943 under a regency that included his uncle, Prince Kyril of Bulgaria.

Father

Ferdinand I, Tsar of Bulgaria, né Prince of Saxe-Coburg and Gotha (1861-     ).  Elected Prince of Bulgaria in 1887 and proclaimed Tsar in 1908.  Abdicated in 1918 in favor of his elder son, Tsar Boris III, and retired to Coburg, Germany.

Brother and Sisters

Kyril, Prince of Bulgaria (1895-1945).  Prince Regent of Bulgaria for his nephew, Tsar Simeon II, from August 28, 1943, to September 9, 1944.  Killed by the Russians on February 1, 1945.

Eudoxia, Princess of Bulgaria (1898-     )

Nadeshda, Duchess Albrecht of Württemberg (1899-     )
